From the Puck jar to the heart

As part of our efforts to support women, the Selfless Shelves Initiative was born. Meet five women who are considered symbols of inspiration, as each one of them has a story full of difficulties and challenges, where every woman took her first step towards her own project that would provide her with a decent life.

Today, Puck is helping to support each of these women, through the Puck cheese jar project. Join us on this inspiring journey where stories intertwine to create a world of creativity.

Five women, one passion

Every project supported by Puck is created to empower women who face the challenges of work, dedication, sacrifice and the pursuit of success, every day. Discover the inspiring stories of the women we partnered with for the Selfless Shelves Initiative, below.
Rima Al Rasheed
A loyal teacher who takes pride in helping her students. She launched the Lebanese Mouneh Project to provide support to students, ensuring that they complete their education, with a heart full of desire to build a better future for everyone.
Fadwa Zahraman
Fadwa grew up in a poor environment, where jobs were scarce. She acquired the skill of preparing different types of mouneh from her mother and grandmother. This helped her and her family, as well as the village residents and farmers in her community.
Najla Bous Nassar
With the decline in the standard of living, Najla courageously decided to start her own mouneh project, with the aim of supporting her family. Her story is a powerful one about resilience in the face of challenges, and turning difficult circumstances into opportunities.
Marlene Muhanna
After retirement and her inability to obtain her savings in the bank, Marlene decided at the age of seventy to start over, making and selling mouneh and sweets. Despite challenges and old age, she continues to work hard to achieve a stable living and a good quality of life.
Samira Zgheib
As a result of difficult economic conditions, Samira decided to benefit from the plants and crops grown by her family to provide them with a decent life despite the problems they face, and pave the way for better living conditions.
